| World of Warcraft Guide to Trading Vanity Pets |
|
Vanity pets or non-combat pets as they are sometimes called can be great fun and many players strive to collect them. This makes them attractive for trading and auction where gold can be made.
If you have been playing World of Warcraft for any length of time, you'll sure to have come across non-combat pets or companions - sometimes called vanity pets. Many players love them and Blizzard have even provided an achievement for collecting 50 unique pets! Now whether you love them or hate them, vanity pets can in fact make you some easy wow gold if you know how to trade them. This fact was brought home to me when I first started playing wow and bought my first pet, which was a little chicken that does nothing more than follow you around. The chicken - called an Ancona Chicken - can be purchased from Magus Tirth for 1 gold. The Magus can be found hanging out at the goblin race track at the Thousand Needles zone. Now while most pets are BOP, the Ancona is BOE and so can be traded - either on the trade channel or on the auction house. Many people buy them from the auction house for the simple reason that they can't be bothered to travel all the way the race track and prefer to pay the mark-up on the price. Depending on your server, you can normally make a few gold by selling your chicken at auction. Now before you cry 'Fowl' at the thought of selling your chicken to a complete stranger, you can save your gold and try these quests which reward you will the following feathery friends: Rescue OOX-22/FE - quest reward Mechanical Chicken (BOP) CLUCK - quest reward Westfall Chicken (BOP) You'll find the Rescue quest in Feleras and as of patch 3.2 is easy to do. CLUCK is a hidden quest that can be found on Saldean's Farm by clicking on the various chickens there until the quest appears. Pets can be great fun and many players collect them. More on the trading of pets and where to find them can be found in my free wow gold guide. Just follow the link below. |
